 ARYSTA LIFESCIENCE NORTH AMERICA LAUNCHES FIRST PRODUCT WITH NEW INSECTICIDE TECHNOLOGYCARY, N.C. (Nov. 3, 2009) – Arysta LifeScience North America announced today the approval of Shooter™, an insecticide with their new Responsive Pest Management Technology™ (RPM). Shooter has been approved for insect control on a large range of crops including bulb, cucurbit, fruiting, root, tuberous and corm vegetables and sweet corn. Through the use of RPM Technology, Shooter provides an Eco-Responsive™ approach to insect control and is a combination of a synthetic and an organic compound. Arysta LifeScience is in the process of developing other products with RPM Technology that will be targeted for specific markets, which will include combination products, as well as solo products. “Shooter is a solution for our customers who are looking for less synthetic active use rates for their crops,” says Marty Wiglesworth, Product Manager, Arysta LifeScience North America. “Shooter is the first product to utilize our new RPM Technology and we’re anxious to develop more products that provide broad-spectrum control with an environmentally responsive solution.”
