ARYSTA LIFESCIENCE NORTH AMERICA RECEIVES APPROVAL OF FUNGICIDE IN FOOD CROP USE

CARY, N.C., July 15, 2009 - Arysta LifeScience North America today announced the approval of Polyoxin-D for food crop use. The approval by the Environmental Protection Agency expanded the label from turf and ornamental use to food crop use including almonds, cucurbit vegetables, fruiting vegetables, grapes, pistachios, pome fruits, potatoes and strawberries. Polyoxin-D will be marketed under the name Ph-D™ Fungicide.

“With the approval of Ph-D on food crop use, we can provide growers control of a wide range of fungi including Alternaria, Early Blight and Powdery Mildew,” says Marty Wiglesworth, Product Manager, Arysta LifeScience North America. “Ph-D yields enhanced resistance management over strobilurins alone, offering a higher degree of control.”
