General Application Guidelines for SHUTTLE™ 15 SC Miticide.
Due to its new and unique mode of action, SHUTTLE™ 15 SC Miticide does not show cross-resistance with other commonly used miticides. However, in order to reduce selection pressure, which can lead to the development of resistance, the following strategies are recommended. Since it is relatively harmless to predacious mites and beneficial insects, SHUTTLE is the perfect choice for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and resistance management programs.
- Incorporate IPM techniques into your insect/mite control program.
- Ensure thorough spray coverage of all foliage.
- Always apply SHUTTLE at the recommended rates and according to label recommendations as soon as threshold infestations are observed.
- Do not use SHUTTLE in successive applications. Rotation with other miticides having different modes of action is recommended.
